The Big Web Farm is a 10-acre natural process farm. What is a natural process farm? It is a farm that is grounded primarily to Kilo (observe). For more about the farm visit the farm website.
We believe in the power of connection - both to the ʻāina (land) and to the web of our community.
We are committed to sharing The Big Web Farm with the community through a variety of outlet programs that fall under The Big Web Institute.
Whether through hands-on workshops, volunteer opportunities, farm-to-table experiences, keiki (children) programs, community gardening, or sharing our knowledge of natural process farming practices with other farmers, we strive to foster a deep sense of stewardship, education, and collaboration.
Our goal is to create a web where people can learn, grow, and reconnect with nature while nurturing a sustainable future for our community which will then correlate to a global shift and cultivate change.

" As a member of this community and this Big Island, a feeling of sharing takes precedence. How much we can all learn from the ʻāina and our collective experiences. I have so much to learn from the members of this community and that is the vision of the programs we are developing at the Big Web Institute. That sharing of the ʻāina with community and learning from the plants and this beautiful earth, and learning from each other, that’s what will bring us back to what matters - a place of harmony, a place of peace. I look forward to growing this institute with and for this community and in doing so inspiring the next generation to learn and listen to the plants, listen to the ʻāina. "

"My hope is that the institute can be a vessel to spark interest in anyone who is seeking change within themselves and the world around them. My vision is to bring about a collective force in which we cultivate the tools needed to learn from everything around us. Sharing some of the insights I have gained from natural process farming within the last decade and hope that we as a community can continue to learn together. Observe, be patient, be courageous, and connect."
